OBJETIVES

Young Catholic Students movement in Rwanda is established in accordance with the general statutes of the International Youth Catholic Student movement with the following objectives: To educate young students according to Christian faith; To train ourselves and train others in light of the Gospel; To assist the members to be faithful to the J.E.C members’ commitments of serving the Church and the country.

WHO WE ARE?

JEC Rwanda s is a Catholic action movement recognized by the Episcopal  Conference as operational in Rwanda since 1978. As indicated by its motto: Formation,  Transformation and Fidelity, the JEC Rwanda is an Education and Training movement that awakens the  consciousness of Students to address different challenges of their respective societies and the  world through its practical See-Judge-Act methodology.

 

What We do?

JEC Rwanda is actively amplifying the voices of Young Catholic Students to promote peaceful, just, and sustainable development, aligning with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. As part of the Decade of Action, a global initiative for the Agenda’s implementation, JEC Rwanda engages Young Catholic Students in Rwanda, encouraging their ideas, solutions, and advocacy for youth rights.
